Authentic Exposure is a visual art studio incorporating still photography & film, founded by myself, Adam Coker
I am a native of Greensboro NC where I attended Grimsely High and then on to Greensboro College followed by Appalachian State University. I have a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Music, Communications, Psychology and Philosophy & Religion.
I am very drawn to raw humanity.. the real as I sometimes call it. I like capturing pure authentic and life giving moments.
The words that most people use to describe my style is classy and cinematic. When I was a kid I was fascinated with the posters for movie advertisements. I am always trying to push for a image that is worthy of hanging on the wall, something you would want displayed, something that is timeless.
In my journey journey to evolve as an artist I have crossed over several disciplines. I went to college on a music scholarship for jazz and classical trumpet performance. I later found myself increasingly intrigued by visual arts. I have traveled coast to coast over 100 times as well as to Europe and Africa. Over the last 15 years I have become tightly woven into a large network of some of the most talented people in this industry. I am thrilled to be a part of this vibrant community. Visual Art should always be highly valued. I look forward to working with people that highly feel the same way.
We are a memebers of the National Assotiation of Wedding Professionals as well as Fearless Photographers, Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce and The Knot.
