David and Allison met at UNC Charlotte in a math class and according to David’s best man at the wedding it was love at first site. When David laid his eyes on Allison for the first time David made it clear that he would be sitting next to Allison shortly in class. We are honored to have photographed and film their wedding on April 21st 2012 at the Mint Museum Randolph. It was a fantastic evening, a wonderful crowd and we could not have asked for better lighting. The photos are fantastic and we cannot wait to show the full gallery to the families.

During the ceremony Allison’s father played some heartfelt songs on his guitar to his daughter and after the portraits and cocktail hour Best Impressions Catering provided a fantastic meal in front of the Museum. The celebration continued indoors with dancing and a fantastic departure lit with glow wands. Congratulations to David and Allison  and we thank you so much for choosing us to document your amazing day. We wish you a blessed life filled with love, laughter, faith and hope.

I had the pleasure of working with Euro RSCG Impact in their promotional campaign as Wells Fargo introduced their branding here in North Carolina. This was a fantastic production that was over 6 weeks of shooting. Arts for Art’s Sake of Winston Salem selected several local artists to each give their own personal take of community on their over0-sized chair hand crafted at Troutman Chair Co. of Statesville NC.

Each chair was on display in downtown Winston Salem promoting public display local art while celebrating the city of the arts. Each chair was quite unique and a great deal of time and energy went into this project from Wells Fargo.

Champ and Jean Land of Troutman Chair Co. and their wonderful team were inspiring to document as they remain one of the few furniture companies in NC to keep all their production here in NC.

Wells Fargo used a in-house editor for this video.

I just love shooting North Carolina Weddings in the Fall. Anywhere in The High Country is always at the very top of my list of my favorite places to photograph or film a wedding. I am an ASU grad and so going to Boone is more like going home for me than any other place.

I have been close friends and a huge fan of Emma’s family for over 10 years and I was so pleased to be the photographer.

The Ceremony was at the historic stone Advent Christian Church on King st in downtown Boone.

The fall colors were in full swing all over Boone still with the amazing leaves decorating the grounds of the quad on campus. We had a few small snow shower surprises that were nothing to get scared about and the soft lighting made for some amazing outside shots and filming.

This wedding was one of the first wedding receptions held at the Solarium on ASU’s campus. The Solarium is a fantastic place for a wedding or reception. They have many options to make your wedding fantastic without breaking the bank. You will notice staff of ASU breaking it down while the dancing was under full swing.

If you look closely you will see me swing dancing with Emma. Watch Out!

The day was so much fun with so many details. We shot stills and video at this wedding and had 3 total shooters, two on stills and one on video. Thanks to Neil and Katie for your amazing passion and talent.

The film was shot on 2 5D Mark II’s.

Lenses were : Canon 35 1.4 L, 24-105 L, 50mm 1.4, 135 2.0 L, 80-200 2.8 L. 20-40 2.8.

Audio was captured with Rode on-camera-mics and zoom H4N’s.

Footage was edited in Final Cut Pro 7.
